Server merges for FFXI, apparently due to RMT driving away players. They fixed RMT, but players aren’t coming back. Merge only solution?

Argh, paid DLC high level areas! This with raised level cap seems they’re really milking it before FFXIV comes out. … moo!
Though I said “milking”, it really does look like the dev team is having some fun with FFXI before FFXIV. And the fans are loving it!
